The 1973–74 season was the 4th season of Paris Saint-Germain FC.[1] PSG played most of their home league matches at the Stade Georges Lefèvre, but also occasionally at the Parc des Princes and the Stade Jean-Bouin, with an average attendance of 4,087 spectators per match.[1][2] The club's president was Daniel Hechter and the team's manager was Robert Vicot.[1][3] Jean-Pierre Dogliani was the team captain.[4] PSG finished second in Division 2, were promoted to Division 1 after winning the promotion play-offs, and reached the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France. Jean-Pierre Dogliani was the club's top scorer this season with 17 goals, 16 of them in the league.[1]
